Eye Doctor Round Rock
I was then advised to obtain an itemized invoice from Clearly Eyecare and submit the claim myself. I followed their recommendation. Once the claim was processed, Cigna confirmed that I was responsible for only the copay and asked me to request a refund from Clearly Eyecare for the remaining amount.
However, Clearly Eyecare is now refusing to provide the refund. At the time of service, Clearly Eyecare did not explain that following this process could result in me paying more than my insurance-approved responsibility. If I had been given this information upfront, I would not go for this.
I am extremely upset and disappointed because I simply followed the instructions provided by Clearly Eyecare, and as a result, I ended up paying extra out of pocket.
