How Clearly Eyecare Began
When Dr. Ngan To donned her white coat after graduating optometry school in 2013, she entered the world of eye care ready to learn. Over the next several years, she worked in private practices, retail-based offices, and larger corporate clinics — gathering experience not only in clinical care, but in understanding what truly makes patients feel seen.
But even then, something felt missing. She noticed that patients were often rushed: quick exams, standard prescriptions, and little time for conversation. It struck her: in a world of volume-driven eye care, empathy and personal attention were becoming rare. That realization sparked a dream — a practice where care isn’t a transaction, but a relationship.
In December 2018, that dream became real with the opening of Clearly Eyecare’s first location in Round Rock. Fast forward to April 2025 — after years of commitment to individual care, community, and trust — the second clinic opened in Hutto.
After graduating from optometry school in 2013, Dr. To worked in private practice and then in retail-based offices. Later, she gained experience in a corporate practice. Those early years gave her valuable insight into not only clinical care, but also the business side of eye care.
In December 2018, she opened the first location of Clearly Eyecare in Round Rock. In April 2025, she expanded with a second location in Hutto — a move that reflects both her growth mindset and commitment to serving her community.
